The brief
Heritage resorts asked us to create a promotional video for their hotel and golf complex on the island of Mauritius. The video needed to convey the atmosphere and sophistication of a 5* all inclusive resort whilst highlighting the various features and services provided by the hotels and golf course.
The execution
Production took place over 1 week at the resort with shoot days divided into blocks for interviews with key personnel, general views/cutaways capture and aerial photography shooting. In order to ensure that we covered all of the aspects of the resort, we spent a long time interviewing members of staff and gaining an insight into what a customer can expect from the resort. We then spent several days in post production cutting together a video that would best show off the resort. Final finessing of the product came from the addition of motion graphics.
The delivery
The Heritage resorts promotional video was provided to the company for use in their internal and external communications. We also used our extensive social media presence to amplify the content for maximum coverage,
The brief
The This Girl Golfs event takes place in several locations throughout the UK and we are always on hand to create a video of the day. The brief for the Mottram Hall event was to create a video which both provides an enjoyable memento to those present and gives potential investors a flavour of the day. The main component of the brief was that the video had to be shot and edited on the day of the event to shown to participants in the evening.
The execution
Production for the event involved shooting general views and gathering vox pop interviews from the people present. The goal was to capture as much of the activities and events during the day as possible. A major challenge of the shoot was that the footage then needed to be assembled and exported as quickly as possible to be displayed to participants. A screening of the video was shown during dinner to an audience of participants,
The delivery
The video was shown to participants during dinner on a big screen with PA system to maximise enjoyment. The video also featured on the ‘This Girl Golfs’ website and enjoyed heavy promotion on our social media channels.
The brief
American Golf asked us to cover their Long Drive event in 2016. The video was intended to promote the event and provide a picture of the day’s activities. The brief included the criteria that participants in the event were to be interviewed to get their take on proceedings.
The execution
Shooting took place on location at American Golfs HQ in Manchester where we were able to get interviews with the winners of the event as well as a lot of general views and cutaways to add texture and excitement to the piece.
The delivery
The finished video was provided to American Golf for use in their online newsletter and YouTube channel. It was also heavily promoted through National Club Golfer and appeared on nationalclubgolfer.com.
The brief
Moorallerton Golf Club is a one of Yorkshires most prestigious venues. They were looking for a modern, fresh and engaging way to promote themselves to the corporate market in the Leeds area. They were keen to show all aspects of the visitor welcome from the on and off course facilities, the friendly, famous members!
The execution
By working with the collaboratively with the club we were able to gain access to notable past and present members such as renewed golfer Peter Allis and cricketer Geoff Boycott. This was added to content gathered on multiple shooting days to showcase events the club hosted during 2017. Bespoke drone footage was used to demonstrate the amazing property on which the club is built
The delivery
We delivered Moorallerton a full length video to use as a sales tool, and multiple shorter iterations for use on social media and the club website. Feedback for the notoriously hard to please membership has been unfailing positive!
